                     MANU GARBA THANKS GOV DANKWAMBO'S SUPPORT.

As the 2016/2017 NPFL rounded up, the management of Gombe United gave its players a three week break for them to be with their families and loveones.
  Addressing the players after returning from Maiduguri, Borno state where they concluded their inconclusive NPFL final Day match with Wikki Tourists, Technical Adviser of the club Manu Garba applauded them for their commitment through out the season even though they couldn't avoid relegation.
  Manu Garba, OON, said  "we've put that aside, what's now remain is for us to come back in earnest and get ready for the NNL with a view to returning back to apex domestic league at the end of the season ".
" Our special appreciation to our sportsloving Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo OON,  for his relentless support to the club, and for the confidence he had in them ".
The former U - 17 gaffer, also expressed gratitude to the media for the good relationship and indeed our true supporters who stood firm and encouraged the players despite their predicaments.
  He appealed to football followers in the state not to allow themselves to be used by someone unpatriotic people to detail the progress of the club, citing the recent ugly scenario during our match with Wikki Tourists at the Pantami Stadium where some people were sponsored to disrupt the match and the consequences of their actions which grossly affects the club.
