GOMBE UNITED'S ABBANI DONATES CASH TO AN ORPHANAGE, THANKS LMC FOR INTRODUCING VAT WONDER GOAL AWARD

           


        Gombe United's forward Sani Abbani has donated fifty thousand Naira to the Tunfure Orphanage Home , Gombe part of the one hundred and fifty thousand Naira VAT Wonder Goal  9 Award introduced by the League Management Company (LMC) supported by Federal Inland Revenue  Services (FIRS).
    Sani Abbani who was accompanied by the captain of the club Sani Gidado and some of his teammates says the gesture is aimed at giving the orphans a sense of belonging and applauded his teammates and technical crew which without them he wouldn't have achieved the fit.
    He also lauded the LMC for introducing the award  which according to him makes the league to be more  attractive and competitive .
    Sani Abbani won the award for his match 28 goal against Elkanemi Warriors at the Pantami Stadium where the game ended 2-0 in favour of the hosts.
   The young rising Savannah Scorpions star gained a total of 524 votes bringing his combined votes on website and twitter to 582 edging out his closest rival Sunshine Stars Joseph Abiodun who earned 434 votes from the website polls another 85 votes of the 305 from the twitter.
