Adewale Adeyinka : Eagles Future Goalie

By Halilu Mohammed Teli

Born on the 14th of December 1996, young goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka took the the just concluded 2018 Nigeria National League (NNL ) by storm playing full ninety minutes in all the Group A1 matches and in the process kept ten clean sheets conceding just six goals in sixteen matches.

Adewale Adeyinka who was signed from ABS last season had a stint with Kwara United and played for coach Manu Garba's  2012/2013 U - 17  national team.
Some his  attributes include : reading a gamethroughout,Positioning.Leadership,Confidence/Strength of Character and All-Round Ability:Good jumping ability, fantastic co-ordination, excellent distribution, solid catching, wonderful agility, strong punching

As Gombe United prepares for life in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after a season at the second tier of the domestic league, it's pertinent to know that the Savannah Scorpions will be amongst the teams that will be parading  the best between the stick .

As the  national team; the Super Eagles continue struggle for a reliable goalkeeper after the  unceremonious retirement of Vincent Enyeama and sudden hanging boots of Carl Ikeme, I see a perfect replacement in Adewale Adeyinka.
