Gombe SUBEB and Board of Internal Revenue Service gets new chairmen and board members

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya Gombe State has approved the appointment of Chairman and members of the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB to facilitate the process of fast-tracking the development of education at primary and secondary levels.

The Board comprises the following:

1. Mr. Babaji Babadidi  Executive Chairman

2. Dr. Shuaibu Umar Doho  Member I

3. Dr. Abubakar Abdullahi Kumo Member II

4. Mallam Sani Sabo  Member III

Other members include:

5. Representative of Ministry of Education

6. Representative of Federal Ministry of Education

7. Representative of Parents Teachers' Association

8. Representative of Nigerian Union of Teachers

9. Representative of Women Group

10. Non Academic Staff Union

11. The Secretary/Director Administration and Finance is to serve as the Secretary of the Board 

Similarly, the Governor has also  approved the appointment of Chairman and members of the Board of Gombe State Internal Revenue Service to reinvigorate revenue generation for the development of the state.

The Board comprises the following:

1. Malam Salihu Adamu Dukku  Chairman

2. Umar Shamaki Tula  Member I

3. Malam Ismaila Ishaq  Member II

4. Alhaji Abdu Magaji Difa  Member III

Other members are:

5. Three Directors from Board of Internal Revenue (BOIR)

6. Representative of Ministry of Finance 

7. Representative of Ministry of Trade

8. Representative of Ministry of Lands

9. The Director Administration and Finance is to serve as Secretary of the Board 

All the appointments take immediate effect.
