Last batch of Gombe pilgrims arrives Medina



The batch C of Gombe pilgrims led by the Sectetary of the state muslim pilgrims welfare board and the state Amirul Hajj, the Emir of Gombe already arrived in medinah for the pilgrimage.

The last batch team numbering 342 plus 4 officials took off via Max air at 5.17am Nigerian time and touched king Abdallah international Airport Medinah around 11.25am.

The Board Secretary and  Amirul Hajj led batch is to have a brief stay in Medinah for just 2 days and join other 2 batches in Mecca Wednesday before peoceeding to Minnah Friday, officials source disclosed.

Other Government functionaries in the last flight was the state first lady Hajiya Asma'u Inuwa and her entourage.

Back in Mecca, scholars in the Amirul Hajj team and guides under the services of Board have intensified effort in enlightening the state pilgrims on the bounties associated to the last 10 days of the sacred month of Thul Hajj and other rites expected of pilgrims.
