In his determination to ensure that Gombe State keys into all Federal Government's Agricultural programmes, projects and initiatives, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya visited the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Abuja.
He was received by the Hon. Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Nanono and the Permanent Secretary of the ministry.
Although the meeting held behind closed doors, Governor Yahaya told journalists that he had fruitful discussions with the minister on issues of mutual interest.
He said his administration is on the same page with the federal government in the efforts to revamp the Agricultural sector and ensure food security, hence his visit to seek improved collaboration for the benefit of farmers and the entire citizenry.
Agriculture is one of the areas of priority of Governor Inuwa Yahaya's administration.
The Governor was accompanied on the visit by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Alhaji Abubakar Inuwa Kari and other aides.
