Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has attended the Nigerian Governors' Forum meeting held today in Abuja.
The meeting took place at the NGF's secretariat, preparatory to the scheduled National Economic Council meeting and was presided over by the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who is also the chairman of the forum.
The meeting discussed among others, recovery of Inflows from LNG account against planned deduction for budget support, update on meeting with Mr President on immunity of Governors and raid on some Governors' property.
There were presentations by some organisations, including the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN on Transmission Expansion Plan and impact on Power Supply in States among others.
Governor Yahaya will join his counterparts to attend the National Economic Council meeting Thursday, 19th September, 2019.
