NUJ President Appeals To Gombe Governor To Give State Owned Media A Facelift

The National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),Mr Chris Isiguzo in continuation of his three days official visit to the Jewel in the Savannah,paid visit to the NUJ Press Center where he made some recommendations and commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya completing the project.

Mr Isiguzo and his entourage later paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner of Information and Culture Alhaji Ibrahim Alhassan Kmami in his office.

He appeal to the state government as a matter of emergency to give facelift to Gombe Media Corporation (GMC), for the station to meet global challenges.

Responding the Ministry Information and Culture boss  assured the national president that if completed, the Press Center will stand the taste of time and that GMC will get the needed attention inorder to compete favourably with it counterparts.

The Nigerian number one journalist also inspected some road projects at Jekadafari area in the the metropolis where he gave a pat on the back of Governor Inuwa Yahaya for remodeling the state.
