Gombe Gov Commissions Izala Mosque Calls For Sustained Prayers


Gombe state Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, alongside the National Chairman  of Council of Ulamas of the Jama'atu Izalatil Bid'ah wa Iqamatissunnah,  Ash- Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir, Emir of Gombe, Dr. Abubakar  Shehu Abubakar III and othe top Government functionaries today preformed the official commissioning of the Izala Mosque Number one, Shagon Goro, new commercial area, Gombe.

Speaking at the occasion,  Governor Inuwa yahaya advised Muslims to continue to support leaders at all levels with prayers.

He commended the national chairman of the Izala for his steadfast commitment at preaching the true gospel of islam and for his continuous prayers for the peace of the nation.

He assured of his administration's determination to continue to accord equal treatment to all sections of the state, urging the people to put the fear of Allah in everything they do  and commit the state and Nigeria into prayers to over come the challenges of insecurity bedeviling the country.

Governor Inuwa further advised the youths to engage in meaningful ventures as well as take advantage of numerous  policies and programmes initiated by his administration that have direct bearing  in their lives.

Emir of Gombe,  Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III  on his part,  commended Dr. Bala Bello Tinka who sponsored the reconstruction of the mosque for his uncommon show of generosity and philanthropic  gesture, urging other well to do Muslims to emulate him in striving to promote Islam.

Earlier,  delivering a lecture,  the Chairman National Council of Ulamas of Izala,  Ash- Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir admonished those in position of authority to lead with fear of Allah,  just as he called on the led to be loyal and prayerful to their leaders and the nation.

He noted with delight the leadership by example posture of Governor Inuwa Yahaya,  urging him maintain the spirit.

The sponsor of the mosque project, Dr. Bala Bello Tinka said he was motivated to undertake the reconstruction of the place of worship out of the belief that he will get reward from Allah,  thanking all those who encouraged or supported him towards  the realization of the noble endeavour.

The Chairman of the Gombe state Council of Ulamas, Sheikh Hamza Adam Abdulhamid commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for identifying with the group and for his support.

Ash- Sheikh Muhammad sani Yahaya Jingir had earlier led the national and state leadership of the Izala on a courtesy visit to Governor Inuwa Yahaya at the Government House,  where special prayers were also offered for the state chief executive, his cabinet as well as for the peace and prosperity of the state and the nation at large.
