The Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya Of Gombe state 
has felicitated with His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, Emir of Gombe and Chairman Gombe state Council of Emirs and Chiefs as he marked the 6th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of his forefathers yesterday, 6th June, 2020.
In a statement, Governor Yahaya described the 6 year reign of Alhaji Abubakar lll as eventful, peaceful and progressive with a lot of achievements recorded.
He praised the monarch for being a father to all and for his uncommon display of philanthropy, forthrightness and wisdom while handling his royal responsibilities.
The Governor particularly commended the Emir for his show of compassion and consistency in supporting the less privileged children in the society to acquire education through his foundation and for using his royal influence to attract development not only to his immediate domain, but to the entire state.
While describing the Gombe Emir as a critical partner of government on governance and development as well as for being an inspiration for the younger generation, the Governor prayed Almighty Allah to continue to guide the traditional ruler and grant him sound health, more wisdom and successful reign.
