The Management of Gombe Unite Football Club has shifted the resumption date earlier fixed for 13th September for a date yet to be announced.
The Chairman of the club Dr Larry Daniel said in a statement that Sunday 13th September was fixed following the announcement that ban on sporting activities had been lifted by the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 ; but only to realised that the ban lifted was on non contact sports.
To this end, Dr Larry Daniel said a new date for the resumption of the training would be communicated to the players and officials, pending the announcement on waiver on contact sports.
