Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress, APC, after revalidating his membership at Pantami Ward in Gombe State.
Professor Pantami, who was accompanied by a large number of supporters, renewed his APC membership card, a move widely seen as a demonstration of his continued commitment to the party.
Earlier, the former minister paid a courtesy visit to the APC State Secretariat in Gombe as part of his official engagements following his arrival in the state on Tuesday.
Addressing party leaders and members, Professor Pantami said his visit was aimed at strengthening unity, peace, and cooperation within the APC.
He reaffirmed his full and unwavering membership of the party and commended the Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for what he described as impactful and people-oriented developmental projects across the state.
In their goodwill messages, the Gombe State APC Chairman, Mr. Nitte K. Amangal, and the Chairman of the APC in Gombe Local Government Area, Alhaji Abubakar Danladi, thanked Professor Pantami for visiting both the state and local government party secretariats.
They praised his continued support and contributions to the growth of the party and expressed optimism about the APC’s prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The former minister also visited New Mile Three in Gombe, where he sympathised with traders affected by a recent fire outbreak.
He expressed concern over the incident and offered prayers for protection against future occurrences.
As part of his humanitarian gesture, Professor Pantami donated five million naira to support the affected traders and assist in their recovery.
The visit attracted widespread support from party members and admirers across the state, including Alhaji Ahmad Abubakar Walama, Comrade Abba Sani Pantami, and other APC stakeholders.
